Bryan Mistretta

Bryan is the Head Trainer at Voltage Fitness with over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. He began his journey as a competitive wrestler and football player, later earning a degree in business management while playing rugby at the University of Rhode Island.

As the founder of Versatile Fitness, the original brand at this location since 2010, Bryan brings deep expertise and unmatched creativity. He hasn’t repeated a workout in over a decade! Known for his tough love coaching style, he pushes members to break limits and build real, lasting strength.

Edgar Rulloda

Edgar is a seasoned trainer who has worked alongside Bryan for many years, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to every session. Born in San Diego and raised across various locations due to his father’s career in the U.S. Navy, Edgar has always embraced a life of movement. A former Marine, he brings discipline and dedication to every workout. He has a deep love for music and staying active with sports, fitness, and outdoor activities. Known for his mobility-focused workouts, Edgar is dedicated to helping members build strength and resilience, ensuring each session challenges and empowers them.

Sydney Allen

Sydney’s fitness journey began at 16 and has never stopped. Her first love was the gym, and she’s been dedicated to growing stronger ever since. With a passion for connecting the mind and body, Sydney believes in cultivating a positive, empowering environment through fitness. She is committed to helping others feel confident, strong, and capable. Sydney’s energy is infectious, and she strives to make fitness fun while supporting members in their journey toward strength and self-discovery. She’s excited be a part of the Voltage Fitness team and help others unlock their full potential.

Paige Braun

Paige has been coaching in the fitness space for the past several years and brings a true passion for group training to the Voltage team. A former college cheerleader and strong advocate of cross-training, her workouts often feature unilateral movements that challenge balance, stability, and control. She thrives on the energy and connection that group training creates, and brings an encouraging, high-vibe presence to every session. Paige is especially excited to coach at Voltage as it was the first gym she joined after moving to San Diego. Her goal is to help members feel strong, confident, and capable both in and out of the gym.

Chris Yarranton

Chris has been a Personal Trainer and Health Coach for almost a decade. Coming to San Diego as a colligate athlete at UCSD, Chris earned his degree in Biology which he paired with his love for health, fitness, and personal development. Believing in knowledge being power, Chris loves to not only guide, but help members learn, grow, and build the self-efficacy needed to truly create sustainable health. Chris has a deep passion to see members achieve their goals and create positive change that will last for years to come.

Josh Farmer

Josh F is a San Diego native and lifelong athlete with a passion for movement and performance. He competed in NCAA Division I track and field for the University of Colorado Boulder and UC Irvine, excelling as a collegiate decathlete and multi-event standout. He has represented Team USA in international competition and brings a wealth of experience from his time as both an athlete and coach. After coaching at Wichita State and developing multiple conference champions, he returned home to San Diego as the jumps and multi-events coach at Mesa College. As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Josh combines technical precision with a motivating, results-driven approach, helping members build strength, confidence, and control both inside and outside the gym.

Josh Jensen

Josh J is a San Diego native with over three years of experience in the fitness industry. He’s worked as a personal trainer across several gyms and brings a high-energy, outgoing approach to every session. Known for his upbeat personality and dynamic coaching style, Josh thrives on creating workouts that challenge members and leave them feeling accomplished. He’s passionate about helping others reach their goals and always brings a positive, motivating presence to the Voltage team. Whether he’s pushing you through a tough set or sharing a laugh between rounds, Josh is all about building connections and making every workout count at Voltage Fitness.
